Zencart MAP Pricing v2.0

After getting numerous nice emails from people who found my contribution helpful, I decided to go through the code and do some updates.  Also building upon what some other users have added to it.   You can download MAP Pricing for Zencart 2.0 here.

MAP Pricing = Manufacturer’s Advertised Price. It is used when you want to sell something for a price that is lower than what you are able to advertise on your website. The price will only display in the cart.

This was a semi-quick change I made, not following all of the specifications you really should to make a contribution, but it works.

It adds a question to the admin section when you’re adding or editing a product, that asks if this product should have MAP pricing enabled. If MAP pricing is enabled for that product, it replaces the price throughout your website with editable text that says: “Priced so low, we’re not able to advertise it. Add to cart for price.”

If you have questions please ask.
