Google Chrome Picks Up a WIN

Google Chrome is great in many ways, including security.

Browser security: Pwn2Own topples all but Chrome | csmonitor.com

Speed is the other big benefit. Chrome is definitely (even to a casual observer) much faster at loading web pages.

However there is one big draw back, and its almost unbelievable, because you take the feature for granted if you’re a user of the tool.  What makes it even more confusing is that the tool is another product from Google.  And seemingly, in order to appear independent, and not draw the eye of anti-trust regulators (like Internet Explorer did), they have no plan to support their own… Google Tool bar.

Being able to remotely store my bookmarks so that they’re available everywhere I go has been a huge helpful, time saving advantage.  Plus I need that Page Rank information to be accessible as quickly as possible.

If it weren’t for the absence of those two things, I would have easily converted to Chrome the day it came out, but until support for Google’s own Tool bar is released, I’ll continue using the second best browser, Firefox.
